All educational institutions in the country reopened on Sunday in full swing after about one month of closure.
On Saturday, the Ministry of Education asked the authorities concerned to open all the educational institutions of the country and resume academic activities from Sunday, following an instruction from the Chief Advisor Prof Muhammad Yunus.
A notification, signed by deputy secretary Mosammat Rahima Akhtar, was issued in this regard.
"All the concerned have been asked to take necessary measures to resume academic activities of all the educational institutions from August 18", read the notification.
Educational institutions had been closed indefinitely since 17 July due to safety concerns amid the countrywide clashes centring the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
Earlier, primary schools across the country reopened on Wednesday.
