Interim government's Planning and Education adviser Dr Wahiduddin Mahmud on Sunday (Aug 25) said education sector might face instability if its officials are forced to resign.
He also said action against education institution officials would be taken if reasonable misconducts are found against them.
Wahiduddin Mahmud made these remarks while talking to officers of the ministry in the capital.
He said chaos in the sector might delay salaries and allowances of teachers, officials and employees.
The advisor said that teachers, officials and employees of government educational institutions are appointed and transferred according to the rules.
He underscored the need for maintaining politeness in the classroom for restoring teacher-student relationship.
No one should be insulted personally, he added.
