Donation cheques worth TK 2 lakh were distributed among two students of Noakhali Science and Technology University who were injured in the recent Anti-discrimination Students Movement.

Vice Chancellor of the university Dr Mohammad Ismail handed over the cheques at a function held at the university’s conference room.
 
Jafar Ahmed Sajib, a law student, and Kawser Ahmed, a student of the Department of Economics received the cheques.

Chairman of Pharmacy Department Prof. Dr.Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, Chairman of Mathematics department, Dr Mohammad Hanif, Prof. Dr.  Mohammad Jahangir Sarker in Fisheries and Marine Science, department, Proctor AFM Arifur Rahman and Registrar Tamjid Hossain Chowdhury were present on the occasion.  

Each student got a cheque worth TK one lakh.
