Three dengue patients died and 908 more people were hospitalised with the mosquito-borne disease across the country in the last 24 hours till Sunday (November 06) morning.

In the 24 hours, 476 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, said the DGHS release.

However, 432 dengue patients were admitted outside the capital.

According to DGHS, 2,042 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals in Dhaka while 1,326 other patients are being treated in hospitals outside Dhaka.

Some 43,107 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue till today while 39,569 patients returned home after recovery since January 1.

However, this year a total 170 died from the mosquito-borne viral disease in Bangladesh till today.

However, 28,429 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 28,265 patients recovered in last year. A total of 105 died from the mosquito-borne disease during that time.
