Dengue: Three die, 760 hospitalised in last 24 hours

Three dengue patients died and 760 more people were hospitalised with the mosquito-borne disease across the country in the last 24 hours Monday (Nov 14).

In the 24 hours, 425 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, said the DGHS release.

However, 335 dengue patients were admitted outside the capital.

According to DGHS, Total 2,989 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals of Bangladesh.

Some 49,300 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue till today while 46,106 patients returned home after recovery since January 1.

However, this year a total 205 died from the mosquito-borne viral disease in Bangladesh till today.

However, 28,429 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 28,265 patients recovered in last year. A total of 105 died from the mosquito-borne disease during that time.
