Dengue: Three die, 436 hospitalised in last 24 hours

The country reported 436 fresh dengue cases in the last 24 hours till Tuesday morning (Nov 29), said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

In the 24 hours, 253 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, said the DGHS release.

However, 183 dengue patients were admitted outside the capital.

According to DGHS, 827 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals of Dhaka while 760 other patients are being treated in hospitals outside Dhaka.

Some 56,932 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue till today while 54,855 patients returned home after recovery since January 1.

However, this year a total 250 died from the mosquito-borne viral disease in Bangladesh till today.

However, 28,429 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 28,265 patients recovered in last year. A total of 105 died from the mosquito-borne disease during that time.
