The registration process for Covid-19 vaccination will begin on 26 January while the vaccination will begin in the first week of February. 
 
Director General (DG) of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) ABM Khurshid Alam made the announcement in a press conference on Monday afternoon. 
 
He said the first batch of coronavirus vaccine is likely to reach the country by 25 January. Around 50 lakh people will be vaccinated in the first phase.

The vaccines will reach upazila levels by January 27 and inoculation will begin in the beginning of February, he added.
