Bangladesh today confirmed 63 deaths from coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 9,447. 

According to the Health authorities, 7,626 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 659,278. 

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.

Meanwhile, 34,630 samples were tested in 227 labs across the country in the past 24 hours.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8 in last year while first death on March 18 in that year.
