Bangladesh on Monday (June 28) recorded the highest single-day COVID-19 cases, according to the official figures.
In the last 24 hours, 8,364 people have tested positive for coronavirus raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 8,96,770.
The country also recorded 104 deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours raising the number of total fatalities to 14,276.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.
Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8 in last year while first death on March 18 in that year.
