Bangladesh on Tuesday (June 29) recorded the second highest single-day COVID-19 fatalities, according to the official figures.
In the last 24 hours, 112 people died from the virus infection raising the number of total fatalities to 14,388.
Besides, 7,666 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 9,04,436.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.
Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8 in last year while first death on March 18 in that year.
