Bangladesh on Monday (July 5) recorded the highest single-day COVID-19 fatalities and caseloads.
According to official figure, 164 people died from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours raising the number of total fatalities to 15,229.
In the last 24 hours, 9,964 people have tested positive for coronavirus raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 9,54,881.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.
Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8 in last year while first death on March 18 in that year.
