Bangladesh on Thursday (July 8) recorded the highest single-day COVID-19 cases, according to the official figures.
In the last 24 hours, 11,651 people have tested positive for coronavirus raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 9,89,219.
Besides, 199 people died from Covid-19 raising the number of total fatalities to 15,792 in the last 24 hours.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.
Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8 in last year while first death on March 18 in that year.
