The country reported 65 fresh dengue cases in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning (July 24), said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
In the 24 hours, 59 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, said the DGHS release.
However, six dengue patients were admitted outside the capital.
According to DGHS, 235 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals of Dhaka while 64 other patients are being treated in hospitals outside Dhaka.
Some 2,146 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue till today while 1,841 patients returned home after recovery since January 1.
However, six died from the mosquito-borne viral disease in Dhaka till July 24 this year.
However, 28,429 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 28,265 patients recovered in last year. A total of 105 died from the mosquito-borne disease during that time.
