Bangladesh logs 141 Covid cases, zero deaths in 24 hours

Bangladesh on Saturday (Sep 17) reported zero deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.

The official data showed a total of 29,339 people in the country have died due to the disease since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020.

Besides, 141 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 20,17,087.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the update on the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8 in 2020 while its first death was on March 18 that year.
