HONG KONG - Thirteen people were plucked to safety after a private helicopter plunged into Hong Kong harbour on Saturday, police said.
Two passengers were slightly injured in the crash, and all on board the helicopter were taken to hospital for observation, including two crew members, a police spokesman told AFP.
"All the people on board were rescued -- there are no missing," he said.
The cause of the crash -- which occurred about 300 metres (yards) from land near the city`s glittering financial district -- was not immediately known and the spokesman said an investigation had been launched.
It was unclear if the helicopter was on a local tour or headed outside Hong Kong. A regular helicopter service runs to the nearby gambling hub of Macau.
