The Police Headquarters in Dhaka today (Oct 25) released a list of 44 police officers who lost their lives during violent incidents across the country amid anti-discrimination protests in July and August this year.
The list includes details of the officers, mentioning their names, ranks, dates of death, units, and locations of incidents.
According to the Police Headquarters, they carefully maintain records of officers or constables injured or killed in protests or violent incidents.
The police department urged if anyone claiming there were additional police deaths in the uprising to provide evidence.
