Interim govt extends army's magistracy power by 2 months

The interim government has extended the special magistracy power given to commissioned army officers for another 60 days.

Alongside the army, officers on deputation in the Bangladesh Coast Guard and the Border Guard Bangladesh will now also be able to exercise the power, the Ministry of Public Administration said in a circular today (November 16).
