CHITTAGONG: Port city Jamaat called dawn-to-dusk hartal in greater Chittagong for Wednesday protesting the arrest of city Jamaat Ameer and secretary.          

Besides, the party will stage rally at all upazilas and thanas on Tuesday.  

Chittagong Jamaat Nayeb-e-Ameer M Ahsan Ullah confirmed the matter to banglanews.  

The law enforcement agency arrested 21 Jamaat men, including port city Jamaat Ameer and former lawmaker ANM Shamsul Islam.   

They were arrested from a meeting at Dewanbazar Jamaat office in the city on Monday afternoon.
