DHAKA: The Jatiya Party (JP) has not taken any decision about appointing the deputy leader of the opposition at Jatiya Sangsad so far.

JP has claimed that there was no chance to be misled by any news item in this regard.

Quoting JP Chairman HM Ershad, his press and political secretary Sunil Shuvo Roy made the assertion on Thursday.

A news item was published in some media about it, which is not true.

Some media published a news item on Thursday saying that JP has been appointing Kazi Firoz Rashid as the deputy leader of the opposition at Jatiya Sangsad.
