Fakhrul for tougher movement

NARAYANGANJ: BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Friday urged leaders and activists of the party to make the ‘upcoming’ movement tougher.

He came up with the urge in the noon while addressing an Eid re-union, arranged by Sonargaon Thana BNP at Meghna Ghat area of the district.

Mentioning Party chief Khaleda Zia will soon declare the final timetable of the movement; Mirza Fakhrul asked party men to take preparations for stern movements on the streets.

“The government has to be yielded to meet our demands due to the stern movements,” he added.

He, however, criticized the newly introduced broadcast policy, saying ‘the ruling Awami League doesn’t believe in the press freedom’.
