Ex-Shibir president among 19 held in city

DHAKA: Law enforcers detained some 19 Chhatra Shibir leaders and activists, including former president, while holding a secret meeting in Lalmatia area of the city on Saturday night.

Acting on a tip off, the law enforcers held them.

Officer-in-Charge of Mohammadpur Thana Azizul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
