KHULNA: Law enforcers arrested Terakhada Upazila Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Kabirul Islam with arms early Tuesday.

He was arrested from Atulia Madrasa of the upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Terakhada Thana Harendranath Sarker confirmed the matter to banglanews.

We have recovered a foreign pistol, five grenades and three rounds of bullet from him, he added.

There are four cases filed against him with the thana, OC added.
