DHAKA: A Speedy trial court here on Wednesday framed charges against 53 BNP men, including Swechchhasebak Dal president Habib-Un Nabi Khan Sohel and Juba Dal president Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, in a case for vandalism.

The charges were framed in connection with vandalizing vehicles and creating anarchy at Eastern Point in Paltan area on December 18, 2012.

Tarek Mainul Islam Bhuiyan, magistrate of Dhaka Speedy Trial Tribunal-6, passed the order under sections 4 and 5 of the speedy trial act.

He, however, also fixed September 18 for deposition submission by witnesses in the case filed with Paltan Thana.
