“Movement can’t happen fixing time”

DHAKA: BNP publicity secretary Zainul Abedin Faruk on Tuesday said movement and fall of a government do not take place by fixing day or time.

The BNP leader told those to journalists after placing floral wreaths at the grave of BNP’s founder Ziaur Rahman at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area of the city on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of Mahila Dal.

Zainul said Khaleda Zia knows well how to stage a movement and in which strategy. She will finalize the government’s fall through perfect movement at the proper time.

This parliament, comprised with 153 lawmakers who are elected without votes, never gets the legitimacy and that illegal parliament are going to pass the judge impeachment bill and passed the broadcast policy, he added.

Zainul went on saying “the illegal parliament of this illegal government can not pass these bills; we want formation of a new parliament through a fair and non-partisan election by immediate dissolution of this parliament.”

Mohila Dal president Nure Aara Safa, general secretary Shirin Sultana, vice-president Rabeya Siraj and Dhaka city unit president Sultana Ahmed were present there.
