DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)-led 20-party alliance will stage a rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the city on Thursday.
The 20-party alliance has already got permission from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in the afternoon.
BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas, also Dhaka city BNP convener, urged the party people to be present at the rally.
He made the request at a program on his party chief Khaleda Zia’s jail release anniversary at Engineers Institute auditorium in the capital on Wednesday.
On the other hand, BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan also asked party people to be present at the protest rally on the issue of the proposed judge impeachment bill.
