Jamaat leader detained in Satkhira

SATKHIRA: Law enforcers on Monday night arrested Maulana Ohiduzzaman, former Nayeb-e-Ameer of Shyamnagar upazila unit Jamaat-e-Islami of the district also principal of Biralakkhi Madrasa.

He was arrested from Noabeki area of the upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Ahyamnagar Thana Aminul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.

There were several cases filed against Maulana Ohiduzzaman in charge of various sabotage including vandalizing during hartals, he added.
