SATKHIRA: Law enforcers, in separate drives at different upazilas of the district, detained six activists of Jamaat-Shibir including Tala upazila unit Jamaat secretary Maulana Mafidul Islam early Friday.

Of the detainees, two including Maulana Mafidul Islam from Tala, one from Debhata, two from Kaliganj and one from Shyamnagar upazilas.

Additional Superintendent of Satkhira Police Syed Modasser Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
