DHAKA: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday gave approval to frame charge against four people, including BNP leader Sadeque Hossain Khoka, on allegation of causing economic loss of Dhaka City Corporation misusing his power during his tenure as mayor.
The other accused are executive engineer Mansur Ahmed, deputy-assistant engineer of DCC (region-8) Aminur Rahman Chowdhury, owner of developer organization MR Trading.
ACC Deputy Director (public relations) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to banglanews.
He also said, “As per rules, five percent space of building no 37 at Dilkusha in city should have been kept empty. But all the space was commercially allocated violating the rules.”
ACC gave approval to frame charge against them as the allegation was found true, he added.
