FROM BRAHMANBARIA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Tuesday categorically said Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) killed 310 leaders and activists of her party.
The former prime minister is addressing a rally organized by the district BNP at Niaz Mohammad High School ground.
“The Rapid Action Battalion killed some 310 leaders and activists of the BNP and abducted many others,” she said.
The district BNP organized the rally protesting murder-disappearance-torture across the country, national broadcast policy, Supreme Court judges impeachment law and demanding next election under the non-partisan caretaker government.
Senior leaders, including its standing committee members Mirza Abbas, Vice-chairman Selima Rahman, Khaleda’s security affairs advisor major general (retd) Fazle Elahi Akbar, press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan Sohel, and Dhaka city BNP member secretary Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, among others, are accompanying Khaleda Zia.
