Khaleda Zia starts for Jamalpur

FROM KHALEDA’S VEHICLE FLEET: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia left Dhaka for Jamalpur district on Friday afternoon.

The BNP chief is scheduled to address a mass rally of local 20-party alliance in Jamalpur. 

Khaleda Zia started the journey at 4:00pm from her Gulshan residence in the city and scheduled to reach Jamuna Resort near Tangail’s Bangabandhu Bridge around 8:00pm. She will stay here the night.

On Saturday, she will resume her journey around 11:00am for Jamalpur circuit house.

Later, the BNP chief will address the rally in Jamalpur District School premises around 3:00 pm. 

The party sources said the senior leaders including BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will join the rally.

BNP press wing sources said convener of Dhaka Metropolitan area Mirza Abbas, member secretary Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohel, Khaleda’s press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan Sohel, BNP vice chairman Selima Rahman, among others, are in the vehicle fleet.

Khaleda Zia will address the rally for mid-term election under caretaker government, stopping murder-kidnapping, cancellation of 16th amendment of the contitution.
