“Demo to force govt changing stance”

DHAKA: BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan opined that though Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina rejected to hold talks on interim election, the government has to change its language due to mass movement.

He came up with the assertion while talking to journalists after paying tribute at former President Ziaur Rahman’s grave in city on Tuesday.

Nazrul Islam Khan said, “We want a solution of the ongoing crisis through dialogue and negotiation, otherwise movement will finalize everything.”

Giving example of HM Ershad, he said that the language of Prime Minister will be changed when movement will erupt.

BNP's Dhaka metropolitan unit member secretary Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, Jatiyabadi Sramik Dal president Anwar Hossain and others attended in the program.
