Hefajat stages demo Friday demanding Latif’s execution

DHAKA: Hefajat-e-Islam will stage demonstrations across the country on Friday demanding the execution of posts, telecommunications and information technology minister Abdul Latif Siddique.

Hefajat joint secretary general Mufti Faizullah made the announcement sending a statement to media on Thursday.

He said hajj will exist in the land of the millions of Muslims, Prophet Mohammad (SM) and Tabligh Jamaat will also exist but Latif Siddique will not exist for a long.

The Hefajat leader said, as per the direction of their party chief Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi, they are ready to admit any sort of sacrifice in protesting the minister’s derogatory speeches.

In the statement, Faizullah also demanded the hanging of Abdul Latif Siddique.

He also declared a countrywide demonstration after the Juma prayer.
