DHAKA: Jatiya Party (JP) on Friday announced its Dhaka (South) new committee with Syed Abu Hossain Babla as the convener and Johirul Alam Rubel as the member secretary.

HM Ershad, JP Chairman, formed the new committee dissolving the old one, said a party statement, signed by the party’s central joint office secretary Abul Hassan Ahmed Juwel, also said the decision was made following the section 39 of the party charter.

Earlier, JP presidium member Kazi Firoz Rashid had been acting as the president of the old committee.

However, the newly formed committee will start working soon.
