DHAKA: BNP acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Friday said that the whole nation was disappointed by the speech of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her press briefing on Friday afternoon.
Pointing the speech of the premier, Fakhrul said that the premier did not tell us about any effective initiatives against Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Abdul Latif Siddiqui for his words demeaning religion and Tablighi Jamaat.
BNP senior leader made the assertions in a press briefing at party’s Gulshan office immediate after Sheikh Hasina’s briefing.
He also warned that the country would move towards clash if they (incumbent Awami League) do not sit for meaningful dialogues with BNP.
