DHAKA: Opposition BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed on Monday said the party would take stand after the verdict in war crimes related case against BNP lawmaker Salauddin Quader Chowdhury.
The BNP leader came up with the statement while talking to journalists after addressing a programme organized by Jatiyatabadi Vumihin Dal at the National Press Club.
He said, “We will inform you the party’s stand after the International Crimes Tribunal’s verdict on BNP standing committee member Salauddin Quader Chowdhury.”
Terming ruling Awami League’s political motive as wicked he said, “The next general polls should be held under non–partisan caretaker government system.”
The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 will pass the verdict in war crimes related case against BNP lawmaker Salauddin Quader Chowdhury on Tuesday.
