DHAKA: Registrar office of the International Crimes Tribunal admitted that draft of the verdict of Salahuddin Quader was leaked partly.
The office also said that a general diary (GD) has been filed to find out the persons involved.
Tribunal Registrar M Nasir Uddin said in a press briefing on Wednesday, “A part of the draft of the verdict was leaked during preparing and we think a vested quarter was involved with it.”
BNP lawmaker Salauddin Quader Chowdhury was sentenced to death for his involvement in crimes against humanity during liberation war in 1971.
International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 found BNP lawmaker Salauddin Quader Chowdhury guilty of nine charges out of total allegations of war crimes including genocide and killings.
