FROM SYLHET: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia categorically said that incumbent Awami League government did not think about the country and the countrymen.
She came up with the observation while addressing a rally on Saturday afternoon at Alia Madrasa ground.
Khaleda Zia said, “The people are passing hard days as government does not think about them.”
“We also want electricity, but not destroying Sundarbans building coal power plant at Rampal,” she added.
The opposition leader also thanked the people of Sylhet for showing Awami League yellow card in recent polls and urged them to show red card next.
Earlier, Khaleda Zia took her seat at the stage rally at 3:00pm.
The rally began with over ten thousands people from adjacent areas.
Khaleda Zia reached at Sylhet Circuit House at 1:15am Saturday leaving Dhaka at 5:40pm Friday.
She will leave Sylhet for Dhaka at 7:00pm.
On the same demand, Khaleda addressed in four separate masss rallies in Narsingdi, Khulna, Rangpur and Rajshahi.
