No more rally like Hefajat’s May 5

DHAKA: Indicating BNP-Jamaat, minister without portfolio Suranjit Sengupta categorically said that the government would not tolerate any more Hefajat-like-mayhem.

Awami League presidium member also said, “No one would be allowed to do Motijheel like incident again.”

He came up with the warning in his speech of chief guest in a conference, arranged by ‘Nouka Somorthak Gosthi’ at the city’s Engineering Institute on Friday noon.

Suranjit Sengupta said, “There is no chance of spreading panic about October 24. Nothing of what BNP is thinking about that time will happen. Parliament will continue on and after October 24.”

Awami Lawmaker also said: “Prime Minister and Cabinet will run on if the Parliament continues. There is no confusion about it.”

He also said that the Parliament will sit on October 23 and continue to the end.

Chaired by president of the organization Nazmul Haque Nasim, among others, joint general secretary of the organization Humayun Kabir and assistant secretary of Awami League Nurul Amin Ruhul were present on the occasion.
