DHAKA: Opposition BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir categorically said that there would be no existence of Awami League in the country after the dissolution of Jatiya Sangshad on October 24.
He came up with the assertion rebuffing Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s comment that there is no barrier for the Parliament to run after October 24.
The BNP leader made the remark while addressing a programme at City’s Bhashani auditorium on Monday.
He said, “There is only one way for us, to arrange a mass movement from October 25 in a bid to oust the government.”
He also said BNP tried to craft an agreement with ruling party but they didn’t cooperate at all.
