MYMENSINGH: Central Jubo Dal leader Enamul Haque Akand Liton was arrested by police on early Friday.

Liton Akand is also joint-organizing Secretary of Mymensingh district (south) Jubo Dal.

District BNP source said that police held Liton Akand and Chhatra Dal leader Mazed from Town Hall area at around 1:00am.

However Liton Akand was charged for many cases and jailed for two years previously.

Confirming the matter, Kotwali Model Thana Officer-in-Charge Golam Sarwar said that he was under interrogation for several charges.
