DHAKA: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Sunday permitted Shommilito Peshajibi Parishad to hold their pre-scheduled programme at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) with Khaleda Zia as Chief Guest on conditions.

DMP joint commissioner Monirul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The conditions are-No gatherings outside the boundary of BICC, No processions could be led to BICC, No slogan, the rally must be ended before evening and no speech containing instigation could be given.

Opposition BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is set to join the programme as chief guest.

However on Saturday, DMP imposed a ban on holding any kind of meeting, procession and rally in the capital for an indefinite period from Sunday morning to avert anarchy and confrontation.
