DHAKA: Huge numbers of law enforcers surrounded Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan residence as she determined to join a pro-BNP programme at Bangabandhu Conference Center on Sunday afternoon.

Sources said that on information of Khaleda Zia’s joining at the programme of Sommilito Peshajibi Parishad, additional law enforcers were deployed around her residence.

Police sources said that there could be melee if Khaleda Zia tried to join the programme. That’s why security measures were beefed up from 12:00pm.
