DHAKA: Opposition BNP will hold October 25 rally in the capital, no matter police permits or not.
Party’s joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi reiterated at a press briefing at Nayapaltan office on Thursday after submitting fresh plea to DMP seeking permission for the rally.
He criticized the obstacles, arrests and threats imposed by the government centering this rally.
He also said that BNP leaders and activists were arrested, assaulted and threatened by police countrywide.
This kind of political practice of the government was illegal and illogical in the country, he added.
