Vehicles torched in city

DHAKA: Unidentified miscreants torched couple of vehicles in different parts of the capital on Saturday.

In Kalabagan, a private car was torched in city’s Kalabagan area on Saturday noon.

Police sources said that unidentified miscreants set on fire at a parked private car in the area at around 1:30 pm.

However fire fighters of Mohammadpur zone doused the blaze.

Kalabagan police station duty officer Sub-Inspector Debopriyo confirmed the matter to banglanews.

In Farmgate: Some miscreants set on fire at a passenger bus in front of Tejgaon College in the capital on Saturday afternoon.

The incident took place at around 12:15pm.

Sher-e-banglanagar police station officer-in-charge Abdul Momen confirmed it to banglanews.

A Tejgaon College student, also witness of the incident, said a gang of miscreants forced passengers to get down from a bus and then set on fire at it and left the place in a hurry.
