DHAKA: Hartal supporters blasted two cocktails in front of election commission (EC) office in city’s Agargaon area on Sunday noon.

Witnesses said two motorcycle riders blasted two cocktails in front of election commission office around 1:00pm and fled the scene in a hurry.

On information, Sher-e-Banglanagar Thana police visited the spot but failed to nab anyone.

Allude to the 60-hour nonstop nationwide hartal, called by the BNP-led 18-party alliance, began on Sunday morning amid stray incidents of violence.
