DHAKA: Opposition BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir urged the government to stop shooting leaders and activists of 18-party alliance immediately.
He came up with the urge in a press briefing at the Nayapaltan central office on Monday.
Mirza Fakhrul alleged that the government wanted to stop the mass upsurge with guns. They were using law enforcers in this purpose. But I didn’t think this upsurge could be stopped.
He also threatened the police to stop shooting, otherwise there would be pitiful consequence for them.
