GAZIPUR: At least 60 leaders and activists of 18-party including the Mayor of Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) were injured, councilor by bullet, in a clash between hartal supporters and law enforcers on Tuesday morning.

Witnesses said the area turned into a battlefield as the hartal supporters blasted cocktails and police opened fire and lobbed tear shells in the clash which was continuing till the report was being filed.
