CHANDPUR: Activists of Jamaat-Shibir torched a passenger bus, a pick-up van and a CNG-run auto- rickshaw in Khazuria area under Cochoowa upazila of the district early Sunday.

Saudia Poribahan’s bus driver Chand Mia and CNG driver told banglanws that “In support of hartal, Jamaat-Shibir put barricade on road by felling tree logs.”

Assistant police super Abu Hanif told banglanews that “police is trying to arrest the miscreants.”
