KUSHTIA: Swechhasebak Dal observed half day hartal in the district on Thursday amid bringing out procession and staging rally at key points of the town.

Besides, the 72-hour roads-rail-waterways blockade, called by 18-party alliance, is underway in the district simultaneously.  
                                            
Local sources said no untoward incident was reported.

Extra police were deployed to avert subversive act.
