DHAKA: Local Government and Rural Development minister Syed Ashraful Islam categorically said new government would be formed by January in next year.
The general secretary ruling Awami League came up with the assertion while talking to journalists after attending a program marking “the 42 th National Cooperative Day’ at Osmani Memorial Auditorium on Saturday noon.
Regarding opposition’s call for 3-day hartal, Syed Ashraf said, “I don’t know whether they called hartal. So I don’t want to make any comment about it.”
In reply to a question of journalists, he said that next parliamentary election is the main target of the government. They have no time to care about opposition’s movement.
